rarebit

Saturday 11th May
Where is Spring?
Cold and windy today although not too bad once we got going. AGH had texted to ask if we were going past Gullane today. That settled it and we packed a couple of things and headed down there while Amanda ate Belhaven Rarebit (with extra flavour) at the Old Clubhouse.

The first couple of miles into the wind along to Aberlady were not great but then we enjoyed the wind behind us down the beaches and trails to Archerfields. Lots of chat and miles (around ten of them) flew by. The tide was quite far in. The sun was trying to break through but never made any impression until a bit later in the day. Tomorrow its out early but then things deteriorate. I was still a bit jet-lagged after a 3.30am finish at work last night. However the job is pretty much done and time to move on to the next one. I was glad to get home last night without falling off any of the 15 window ledges onto expensive computer hardware.

And that's pretty much it for today. Somebody had constructed a door to perception on the beach and seeing the potential for fun sorted the tripod and captured our miraculous passage through to the other side. You will have to wait for the video as there are several videos in a holding pattern waiting to land.
