After a trying week with fewer miles run than I would have wished, we set off to park up at Granton and run past Cramond and along the Dalmeny coast.
It was cold, but once moving, good. The frosty ground mostly kept the mud under control although there were a few patches where we had to be careful. Despite Mary's current muscle pull that makes just about everything uncomfortable, we managed the 15 we planned. 7.5 took us most of the way to South Queensferry, stopping just before views of the Forth bridges.
Fish finger sandwiches were on the menu again when we got home after the run.
The pace was easy and probably the best taper for the Forfar Half tomorrow, other than sitting around at home. Afterwards, I cycled along to my mum's to sort a couple of things for her then raced back in time to help the Tesco's home delivery guy upstairs with our shopping. Something of a triathlon then. Must go to bed and try and get a decent night's sleep before tomorrow's early start.
Here's the pics from today...
