Oh hell, if the Winter was full of days like Monday it'd be a dawdle. Mary and I cut classes, jumped in the Berlingo (started first time after 3 weeks parked), and headed East for coffee, cake and miles of empty beaches. The birds were having a ball and everything was mighty fine!
breaking all the pool rules, diving, bombing, running with scissors

the frosty dew was melting off the sea buckthorn
backlit rushes
mini mary berry
mallards and teal at Aberlady
curly-beak
dudes
coconut beach
mystical meeting in the woods with the tree troll
hands glued to hips
that'll never get off the ground
and just one small window, but great view
goldfinch
fairground mirror no.2 at Yellowcraigs
fairies
Mary thought we were running so slowly we had gone back in time.
