summer arrives

Mary told me not to stay up all night blogging as she is bringing me a cup of tea early morning and we are going running. She is quite right, as tomorrow also looks promising for another sunny outing. So very quickly (in summery summary) Michael G came round after I had finished for the day and drove us to Balerno where we headed up to the kips along to Scald Law then down towards the Howe and back along the coffin road. Then a quick circuit of the Red Moss boardwalk. The bog cotton is just coming out and the place was buzzing with life: insect, ducks but no runners. Where were they tonight? Missing a cracking run, that's where. Just fab. Here's the evidence...
